"Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you." Luke 6:38
Giving is a principle that is taught throughout the Bible. When we give, we express our commitment to God in a tangible way and assist in the work of spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.
There are many ways we can give:
- our time;
- our skills;
- our talents; and
- financially.
The Bible encourages us to give regularly, sacrificially and cheerfully. It is with thankful hearts that we give our time, skills and finances back to God as an act of worship. We don't give out of a feeling of obligation or routine, we give because we:
- love God;
- love the vision and mission of His church; and
- love people and want to see them reached for Christ.
Giving your time, skills, and talents
There are many opportunities to serve in practical ways in our welcome team, musicians, serving refreshments, etc. Please speak to one of our Leadership Team to discover how you can be involved.
