7pm Tuesday 6 August 2024 @ Estuary Elim Ashingdon
In these turbulent times, when the UK is experiencing unrest and protests, it is more important than ever to come together in prayer. As followers of Christ, we believe in the power of prayer to bring about peace, understanding, and healing in our communities and our nation.
We invite you to join us for a special one-hour prayer meeting (at Estuary Elim Ashingdon) dedicated to seeking God's guidance and intervention during the current unrest. This will be a time for us to unite our hearts and voices, lifting our concerns and petitions to the Lord.
Why Should You Attend?
Unity in Christ: Our country is facing division and turmoil. Let us come together as one body in Christ, united in prayer and love, to seek God's peace and wisdom.
Intercede for Our Nation: We will intercede for our leaders, our communities, and all those affected by the unrest. Let's pray for calm, understanding, and resolution.
Biblical Encouragement: Jesus said, "In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world" (John 16:33, NLT). Together, we will find strength and encouragement in His words.
Support and Solidarity: Let's join together as a community of believers who are committed to making a positive difference through prayer and action.
What to Expect
Scripture Reading: We will start with scripture readings that remind us of God's promises and sovereignty.
Corporate Prayer: We will pray for our nation, our leaders, and those affected by the unrest. Lifting our voices to seek God's presence and guidance.
As C.S. Lewis once said, "The prayer preceding all prayers is 'May it be the real I who speaks. May it be the real Thou that I speak to.'" Let's come together with sincere hearts, seeking the presence of God.
Let us not stand idle in these times of crisis. Your prayers are powerful and needed. Join us and be part of a movement that believes in the transformative power of prayer.
Jesus: "For where two or three gather together as my followers, I am there among them." (Matthew 18:20, NLT).
Together, let's seek God's peace and guidance for our nation.
